New Life Radio International: how it works
NLRI (USA) is the parent organization overseen by a volunteer board of directors prioritized on funding and oversight of our Ukraine-based operations. It is registered in the State of Illinois, and a federal 501©3 non-profit org. The Board is: Brian Bettger, Chair (Mt. Vernon, WA); Marlene Hamrick, Treasurer (Youngsville, PA); Oksana Johnson (Youngsville, PA); Rev. Doug Kibbe (Fluvanna, NY) ; Titus Hanham (Atlanta, GA). Daniel Johnson serves as president; Kris Gallegos, Registered Agent (Skokie, IL).
NLR-Russian (радио новая жизнь) is our initial radio network, based in the Russian language, and transmitting to Russia and Europe via satellite radio (Hotbird), and to listeners globally via Internet radio at www.NLRadio.net. The NLR organization in Odessa is a registered non-profit organization under the laws of Ukraine. Its legal founders are NLRI appointees from the USA, while a Ukrainian national serves as president of the organization as demanded by Ukrainian non-profit regulations.
NLR-Ukrainian (радіо нове життя) is our newest radio network, begun in 2022, and reaching Ukrainian audiences via Internet radio at www.NoveZhitya.net The station manager for both networks is Ivan Zhurakovski along with studio coordinator, Yuri Ignatenko in Odessa.
BOTH RADIO NETWORKS transmit solely in their particular language, but share a radio format designed to bring listeners deep into the Scriptures –supplemented with outstanding Christian music that worships our Creator while expressing the fundamental doctrines of Christianity. What comes out of our radio control rooms: comprehensive Bible teaching from a select group of the most trusted and experienced expositors, supplemented by our local staff programming featuring apologetics, dramatic Bible readings, theological discussions, sermons, and a variety of materials that systematically search out the Old and New Testaments. Listeners tune to NLR for insight into understanding the whole plan of God for mankind, while our teachers endeavor to reveal Christ as He is found in every book of the Bible. Our programs can train believers in Christology, Soteriology, Eschatology, Church history, etc., as we labor to build up and disciple those seeking doctrinal instruction they might not receive from their local congregations.
Simply put, WE TEACH GOD’S WORD on the air and trust the Spirit for the results! NLR is focused on being a Christian witness and voice of comfort for those in our listening areas who are seeking God and answers to life’s most difficult questions that can only be answered by Christ.
